The DrugInfo clearinghouse is a program of the Australian Drug Foundation. It provides easily understood information about alcohol and other drugs.
THE NATIONAL DRUG AND ALCOHOL RESEARCH CENTRE
The National Drug and Alcohol Research Centre’s main aim is to generate high quality research and evidence that can be put into practice in order to develop and improve approaches to both prevention and treatment of addiction related problems.
YOUTH SUPPORT AND ADVOCACY SERVICE
YSAS (Youth Support and Advocacy Service) is a state-wide community service providing a continuum of services for young people aged between 12-21 who are experiencing problems related to alcohol and other drugs. YSAS provides a range of youth specific outreach, treatment, withdrawal, rehabilitation and support programs in 13 locations across Melbourne and regional Victoria.

FaHCSIA supports Indigenous Australians through a range of programs and services including Closing the Gap initiatives. FaHCSIA also provides grants and funding to support Indigenous organisations and individuals.
BUNJILWARRA KOOR YOUTH ALCOHOL AND DRUGS HEALING SERVICE (VIC)
Bunjilwarra is a permanent 12 bed, state-wide residential youth rehabilitation service for young Koori people. It is based in Hastings on the Mornington Peninsula and is the first service of its kind in Australia.

Njernda’s purpose is to deliver community controlled, holistic services and programs which improve the physical, emotional, cultural and spiritual wellbeing of the Aboriginal Community of Echuca and surrounding areas. The Family Services Unit is a combination of innovative programs of the Njernda Aboriginal Corporation which were brought about because of a need within the community to help individuals & families strengthen, empower and be in charge of their destiny.
KARI ABORIGINAL RESOURCES INC
KARI Aboriginal Resources Incorporated (KARI) was established in 1999 as a not-for-profit community organisation based at Liverpool in Sydney's South West. KARI was founded to address the needs of the Aboriginal communities within the region as at the time there were virtually no Aboriginal community services operating in the area. KARI provides an Aboriginal Out-of-Home Care Program as well as a Community Program for the Aboriginal communities within Sydney's South West
MARIST YOUTH CARE
Provides support to Aboriginal young people aged 12-18 years who have been involved with court, police or Juvenile Justice. It is a structured 12 week diversionary program which seeks to engage the young people to prevent re-offending. The program provides intensive case management to assist them in their rehabilitation and reintegration back into the community.
YOUTH OFF THE STREETS
Youth Off The Streets Aboriginal Service targets Aboriginal young people aged between 13 and 24 years old. In addition to promoting recognition and cultural appreciation of Aboriginal people, history and culture across Youth Off The Streets, the Aboriginal services run a number of services specific to the cultural needs of Aboriginal youth. Recently Youth Off The Streets expanded their Aboriginal Services to include an Aboriginal Residential Program.
NORTHERN TERRITORY COUNCIL OF SOCIAL SERVICES
The NT does not have a youth specific peak. You can contact the NT Youth Policy Officer with NTCOSS who can be contacted regarding any policy enquiries within the NT youth sector. NTCOSS is the peak body for the social services sector within the NT.
THE AUSTRALIAN YOUTH AFFAIRS COALITION
The Australian Youth Affairs Coalition (AYAC) is Australia’s non-government youth affairs peak body. They undertake a range of activities including advocacy, research and policy development, youth sector development and youth engagement - Funded by the Federal Government.
